Migraine 


It is a neurological diseases characterized by recurrent moderate to severe headaches often in associations with number of autonomic nervous symptoms.
Typically the headache affects one half of the head, which is throbbing and pulsating in nature which comes gradually and lasts from 2- 72 hours. Associated symptoms may include nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light sound or smell, altered mood , depression, fatigue, craving for certain foods.The pain is generally made worse by physical activity upto 1/3rd of the people with migraine headaches perceive an aura a transient visual, sensory, language or motor disturbances which signals that headache will soon occur.















The Case :

This is a case of Mr. Ravindra Singh 25yrs/M of Migraine since last 10-12 yrs who presented to us as with sudden pulsating pain in right side of head which starts from forehead and extends up to temporal region. This was generally aggravated by noise and relieved by vomiting, lying down and in remaining in silence. Associated with it there was redness of eyes. He has strong desire for sweets meat and that he could not tolerate being hungry. He is much found of tea and tobacco.

Choice of Remedy:

Based on the personality and sensitivity of patient Lycopodium was prescribed was given in subsequent intervals that cleared the case.
